Product Description
The balaphone is a traditional West African percussion instrument that resembles a xylophone. Created by master Ghanaian artisans, each balaphone includes six wooden notes with calabash gourd resonators of decreasing size. The entire piece is lashed with strips of goatskin.
This beautiful, musical instrument is as inviting to the eye as the hand, and makes a fabullous display piece. Mallet included.
